A warm HELLO to all my friends here! I am so happy to have found a home in ther ABDL Community! I am such a hermit; you guys (and gals) really fill a hole in my life. As some of you may know, I live with my husband and brother, and my five cats.
I am a huge cat lover … meow. Mine are fluffy Siberians, and they are my Kitty Kat Pride! Out of the five, Brute is most special to me. He’s a big, black, fluffy boy, who looks like a tiger! He sleeps with me every night.
All of my cats receive regular vet care, but sometimes things happen you can’t predict. Over the weekend, he started urinating blood, and since my regular vet was closed, I had to take him to emergency care. He had to have a procedure that couldn’t wait, and it cost so much more than it would have had this happened on a weekday. Long story short, I had to cough up 1600$ or Brute would die. It felt like ransom money. I had to clean out my bank account, then beg and borrow, even then it wasn’t enough. I ended up having to take out a line of credit at an outrageous interest rate. It was all worth it, though. My sweet widdle baby is resting comfortably next to me as I type this, and there is no amount of money that could replace him.
As nice of sentiment as that is, the truth is, no one really cares about my cat but me, and now I am practically destitute, until i can pay this off. My bills didn’t stop because I had to spend all my money on my cat. So now I have to figure out how I am going to get by this month, and pay my regular bills, PLUS the people I owe, not to mention the Emergency Care bill, that is racking up interest as we speak.
